The Cape Verdean Alliance relies, above all, on the personal commitment of its members.
Behind every event, meeting, solidarity initiative, and social gathering are men and women who dedicate their time, energy, and skills to keeping the association active on a daily basis.
Today, more than thirty people contribute regularly to its operations. Some serve in leadership and general organization roles, while others assist with events, office administration, cultural activities, fundraising campaigns, welcoming the public, or maintaining our facilities.
The dedication of these individuals ensures that the Cape Verdean Alliance remains a vibrant, welcoming association rooted in solidarity and close to its members.

The board oversees the management, representation, and day-to-day operations of Alliance Capverdienne.
Its members coordinate projects, support volunteers, handle administrative procedures, and ensure that the association’s values ​​and objectives are upheld.
Beyond their official duties, they are actively involved on the ground, playing a key role in preparing activities, welcoming families, and developing new projects.

The organizational center
The organizing team brings together members who regularly participate in planning and coordinating activities.
They help design events, prepare venues, welcome participants, coordinate teams, manage logistics, support artists, and ensure the smooth running of various initiatives.
Although their work may sometimes go unnoticed, it is essential. Thanks to their presence and adaptability, every project is meticulously prepared and successfully executed.
This team unites people with diverse personalities and skills, all motivated by a common goal: moving the association forward together.

Our volunteers
Our volunteers are the beating heart of the Cape Verdean Alliance.
Our volunteers are the vibrant heart of Alliance Capverdienne.
They dedicate their time based on their availability and work in various areas: meal preparation, event setup, decoration, welcoming the public, cleaning, communications, family support, cultural activities, music, transportation, and logistical assistance.
Every contribution counts. Some people volunteer every week, while others help out occasionally with specific events or initiatives.
No task is too small. Every action, every hour dedicated, and every skill shared contributes directly to the success of our projects.
Our diversity of backgrounds, generations, and personalities is one of our association’s greatest strengths.
